| The building is open to the public from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday excluding select holidays.
The after hours entrance is located at the center doors on the 4th Street side of the building.
The Hennepin County Adult Detention Center has visiting hours on Mondays from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. and Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. During these times, the public will have limited access to the Adult Detention Center through the 4th Street entrance.
With the opening of the Hennepin County Public Safety Facility, inmates are now being released from that building. It is located just one block east of the City Hall and Courthouse at 401 4th Avenue South.
