A volunteer committee of city and county employees prepares and distributes a 1991 calendar highlighting significant events and photographs of the City Hall and Courthouse's first hundred years, announces plans for publication of a centennial book, and begins planning for ceremonies to commemorate the centennial of the laying of the cornerstone.

1991
A $3.1 million electrical and emergency power system upgrade is completed.
